Caesar was created to capture the atmosphere of late Republican Rome, blending the brightness of Mediterranean citrus with the richness of violet and the depth of wine and aged woods. The fragrance reflects the dual nature of Caesar himself, disciplined yet indulgent, and admired yet feared. It opens with lemon and blood orange that quickly settle into the soft aura of violet, chosen to echo the color worn by Roman rulers. The base brings together the essense of wine, warm woods, and gentle sweetness to suggest distant vineyards and the ambition that defined the Roman world. Caesar is designed to feel immersive and elegant, evoking Rome as both a real place and a vivid memory, carrying the presence of leadership.

Pericles is shaped by the world of classical Athens, a place defined by sea-borne trade and a culture driven by thought. In Athens, ideas were as valuable as goods, and the city’s calm confidence came from a belief that clarity of mind led to clarity of action. This fragrance reflects that same intellectual poise. Pericles opens with a calm brightness of bergamot, lavender, and neroli, creating an impression of clear air and reflective mornings along the Aegean coast. As the scent settles, it becomes light and transparent, suggesting peaceful courtyards and open horizons. Pericles offers a clean and serene atmosphere, evoking the quiet strength, measured intelligence, and balanced brilliance of Athens in its golden age.

Hannibal captures the fierce resolve of Carthage and the remarkable journey of the commander who crossed mountains with war elephants. This fragrance holds the weight and power of those same elephants in motion, creatures that embody endurance, strength, and determination. It opens with a warm rush of spice and gentle smoke that mirrors a distant camp under shifting winds. The scent then moves into deeper resin-filled notes of labdanum and aged woods, creating the mood of fire lit nights and rugged terrain. Hannibal reflects a story of grit and ambition, shaped by desert paths, cold mountain passes, and the unwavering drive that carried Carthage toward legend.

Cyrus draws its inspiration from ancient Persia, a civilization known for its beauty and refined strength. This fragrance reflects the quiet elegance of a royal Persian garden, where flowers bloom beside smooth stone pools and the air carries a sense of balance and calm. It opens with the radiant softness of rose, a flower deeply connected to Persian culture and poetry. The scent then rests on warm sandalwood that suggests carved columns, shaded courtyards, and the collected grace of thoughtful rule. Cyrus expresses serenity and dignity, offering a gentle floral warmth that mirrors the wisdom and steady presence of a ruler who shaped an empire with clarity and peace.

Alexander is inspired by the energy and ambition of the Macedonian world, capturing the momentum of a leader who carried Greek culture across continents. The fragrance reflects the striking image of a bronze Macedonian helmet set against open sky, a symbol of both conquest and curiosity. It opens with an energetic blend of citrus and aromatic herbs, creating a feeling of movement and youthful intensity. As it develops, jasmine adds warmth and brightness, linking the top notes to a grounded base of vetiver and smooth woods. Alexander carries the atmosphere of long journeys into new horizons and the bold forward motion of the Hellenistic age.

Aeolus, named after the god of the four winds in Greek mythology, is shaped by the restless movement of the wind itself, inspired by the ancient guardian who held command over every shifting current of air. Aeolus opens with a sharp, clean brightness of citrus and airy mineral notes that suggest cold mountain streams and fast-moving clouds. The scent becomes cooler and smoother as it settles, reflecting the calm that follows a sudden gust and the quiet presence of open sky. Aeolus expresses purity, freshness, and clarity, offering an atmosphere that feels lifted and weightless. It captures the sensation of wind shaped landscapes and the serene strength of a force that can move the world without being seen.

Silvanus takes its name from the Latin spirit of forests, a guardian of groves and wild places in Roman tradition. The name itself comes from silva, meaning forest, which carries the feeling of untouched land and ancient roots. This dense olfactory experience opens with the warmth of wood and the cool breath of deep green air. As it settles, darker earthy notes and resinous shadows appear, creating the quiet atmosphere of a forest that feels alive yet serene. Silvanus is meant to feel grounded and timeless, drawing the wearer into a world shaped by nature, history, and the steady stillness that ancient people would have associated with sacred trees.

Centre Court is inspired by the energy and clarity of championship tennis, especially the feeling of stepping onto the grass at Wimbledon where the world becomes bright, sharp, and perfectly ordered. The fragrance carries this setting through crisp citrus, flashes of green grass, and clean ambrosial notes that feel both athletic and elegant. The structure of Centre Court mirrors the discipline and focus of a match played under sunlight, with a brightness that moves as quickly as a rally. It is named for the most iconic court in the sport because the scent aims to create the same sense of anticipation, clarity, and precision. Centre Court is made to feel open and refreshing, like the first breath taken before a serve.

Fougère No. 5 is designed as a tribute to the age of fougères, a time when fragrances were built on lavender, herbs, green tones, and the clean structure that defined an entire family of scents. The name fougère comes from the French word for fern and was originally used to describe compositions that did not smell like the plant itself but instead suggested a fresh, orderly, and natural world. This fragrance honors that tradition with a combination of classic herbal brightness and a softer modern base. Fougère No. 5 is meant to feel familiar yet current, echoing the history of one of perfumery’s foundational styles while remaining smooth, wearable, and balanced.
Benaco Parfums began with an early fascination for fragrance, the kind that encourages you to visit the nearest fragrance counter. That fascination soon turned into an obsession after my visits to a niche fragrance boutique in Orlando, Florida. As soon as I stepped through those doors, I was engulfed in compositions I would have never dreamed existed in a typical department store. Rare compositions and thoughtful curation revealed to me the depth of perfumery as an art rooted in history, technique, and imagination. That obsession slowly expanded through research. I read composition guides and learned the basics of how accords and structures were built. Over time the desire to create moved from a once distant idea to a commitment. The turning point came during a family trip to Italy. My family and I traveled through Venice, Florence, the Dolomites, Lake Como, and Lake Garda, and I captured countless aerial photographs along the way. The background pictures on this website come from those very moments, taken by me with my drone as we traveled. I found that each place had its own distinct scent created from local foliage. While in a small rural town in Tuscany, I visited a small but charming fragrance boutique. As I was browsing the locally made fragrances, I realized that my dream of making my own artful creations was not that absurd at all.The location that inspired me the most, however, was Lake Garda. I sailed across its surface and saw the towering cliffs leading to the calm shores and local restaurants I ate at later that day. I could think of no better name than the ancient name of Lake Garda, Benacus, later shortened to Benaco. When I returned home, I gathered a complete set of materials and instruments necessary for making fragrances. As the months went on I experimented with new styles and new notes while balancing my responsibilities beyond perfumery. What started as a passion became a practice that I build on constantly. Benaco Parfums may be young, but it is grounded in composition, travel, memory, and the belief that fragrance can preserve memories and aid in creating new ones.Welcome to Benaco Parfums!

The purpose of Benaco Parfums is simple. I want to create fragrances that are beautiful and accessible, without the barrier of prices that make niche perfumery feel out of reach. When I first began exploring the world of scent, my visits to a niche fragrance boutique in Orlando showed me how extraordinary niche compositions could be. However, I was dumbfounded when I realized how expensive many of the fragrances were. Whether in that boutique or online, I kept finding scents that captivated me only to discover that they cost far beyond what I could justify, often rising well above four hundred dollars for a single bottle. It began to dawn on me that many perfume houses were not charging for materials or craftsmanship alone, but for the weight of their name. It became clear that the final price often reflected branding and reputation far more than the true cost of creation.Benaco Parfums exists so that everyone can experience thoughtful compositions, explore new styles, and enjoy the richness of niche fragrance without being limited by unnecessary markup. My goal is to create scents using quality materials and meticulous precision, and to offer them at prices that make sense.I believe fragrance should be approached with curiosity and freedom rather than hesitation. I want people to explore and enjoy scent without crossing a price threshold they never intended to reach. This purpose guides every creation I release.-Rory Glynn
